Let's give all fishers a fair go.

Every Western Australian wants sustainable local fish stocks and to be able to enjoy fresh and affordable WA seafood.

Fish For All advocates for the sustainable management of our fishery for those who catch seafood for a living and for the businesses that support the commercial fishing industry in communities up and down our coast.

But the State Government’s proposed new demersal fishing rules are unfair on everyone who makes a living directly and indirectly from this fishery.

We believe there’s a fairer solution to ensure demersal fish stocks are there for future generations of WA fishers – and for future generations of WA seafood fans.

We’re petitioning the Minister for Fisheries to pause the implementation of legislation to enable an independent statewide biomass survey. This will also give the fishing community a chance to work with the State Government to find a solution that’s not only sustainable, but fair for all.
